Mandala is committed to sheltering our classrooms from a stream of visitors and distractions. As such, we provide individual tours for interested families only when we have a confirmed opening in a specific class for your child. Whether you are “just visiting” or you are ready to enroll, we are happy to meet with you and your child, show you our classrooms, explain our program, answer all your questions, and tell you which class is best suited for your child and what openings are available. Please bring your child with you!
VISITING OUR CLASSROOMS
In order to preserve the quality of our programs and because of the high volume of tour requests, we limit the number of private tours through the classrooms. Alternately, we welcome interested families to attend one of our Open Houses, which are hosted on several Saturdays throughout the winter and early spring . During your visit you will hear about our school, tour the classrooms and campus, be able to ask questions, and meet our teachers in a relaxed environment. Plan to bring your child with you!
For mid-year enrollment, please call (408) 251-8633 or send an email to inquire about potential openings. If we do foresee an opening in one of our classes, we will help you schedule a visit. We give tours of our classrooms on select weekday mornings. During your visit, one of our administrators will meet with you and your child, take you on a brief tour of the classrooms, explain our program, answer questions, and tell you which class is best suited for your child and what openings are currently available.
NO TOURS THE FIRST WEEKS OF SCHOOL
Please Note: To facilitate children’s adjustment in fall, we do not schedule tours during the first several weeks of school. We are happy to schedule a tour for a later date.
Beginning school is a sensitive period for young children. At Mandala, we give children the comfort of building build trust with their teachers without interruption from strangers. While we know this is difficult for parents who desire a more immediate tour, we ask that you respect our valuing children’s needs above all others.
