Letter From The Preschool Director

I came to Mandala as a young parent in 1979. Over the years, I have been guided and shaped by not only the original Director of Mandala Children’s House, Marilyn Drino, but also the community of parents, teachers, and staff. The vision that Mandala began with is timeless and our values remain consistent with this original vision. I am honored to carry on the tradition and I feel fortunate to have found a warm, nurturing environment in which to grow and learn.

Our commitment to providing a quality learning environment extends to teachers, parents, children and staff. Our goal is to instill a lifelong love of learning and our wonderful teaching staff embodies this value. Having been a teacher in the classroom for many years, I know that our teachers are truly some of the best teachers in the field. We see the joy and passion that they bring to their work, and we appreciate their strong commitment.

I have watched children who I had in class in my early years at Mandala return with their children, and it is very gratifying to realize the appreciation and trust these parents who know Mandala so well place in us to nurture their children. We work in partnership with parents and welcome them into our classrooms. We recognize that we are working with families and we work hard to build this relationship. We value the culturally rich diversity that our school engenders.

We look forward to having you join our Mandala family.
